Swollen arms, an aching back,

Yet in my arms, they rest, they hide.
Though my body aches, my heart is light,
For love gives strength throughout the night.

Lost, Yet Found

I lost the late nights, the carefree days,
Traded my dreams for lullabies and play.
I lost my time, my space, my ease,
For little hands wrapped tight 'round me.

I lost my freedom, the world moved fast,
While I stood still, making moments last.
I lost my plans, my path unclear,
Yet somehow, love made everything near.

For in their laughter, I found my song,
In their small hands, where I belong.
I lost so much, yet gained even more,
A heart so full, it overflows.

I lost myself—at least, I thought,
Until I found the me I’d once forgot.
Not in the past, but here, right now,
Whole and complete—no need to doubt.

Mama, Breathe

The toys on the floor, the crumbs on the chair,
The fingerprints smudged—little signs they were there.
The laughter, the chaos, the endless "Why?"
Are moments that someday will pass in a sigh.

So breathe, dear mama, be patient, be kind,
Their mess is their childhood, a beautiful sign.
One day it’ll quiet, the toys put away,
And you’ll miss the mess of their little days. 💕
