*Brief history of ear candles*
This is an ancient and natural therapy handed down by many civilizations. It is believed that the Ancient Greeks used ear candles initially probably for cleaning, purifying, and healing on the spiritual basis, but much later in a purely physical basis. However, the practice reached the modern world via the Native American Indians of north Arizona. Ear candles were used traditionally by Shamen healers. Ancient wall paintings show their importance initiation rituals and healing ceremonies of the tribe. The candles are still made today on the basis of the old traditional formula originating from the Ancient Indians.

Ear candling involves inserting a long cylindrical candle into the ear and lighting it on the other end. Once lit, the candle creates a slight vacuum effect, oxidizing, vaporizing and drawing softened wax and debris from the ear. This is a very gentle and non-invasive process and you will probably exeprience a wonderful crackling or soft hissing sound during the procedure. The approximate burning time for the candle is 12-15 mins.
