Why adjustments are necessary?

To maintain constant pressure: As teeth begin to move, the tension from the wires decreases over time. Adjustments restore the necessary pressure to keep the teeth moving toward their final position.
To correct the direction of movement: Teeth don't always move as expected. Adjustments allow an orthodontist to correct any unexpected shifts and apply pressure in the correct direction to achieve the desired result.
To keep treatment on track: Skipping adjustments can slow down the entire treatment process. Adjustments ensure the teeth are progressing as planned and prevent delays.
To fix broken parts: Wires can bend or brackets can loosen over time. Adjustment appointments are essential for replacing or tightening these components to ensure the braces are functioning correctly.
To monitor oral health: These appointments are a chance for the orthodontist to check for any signs of tooth decay, gum problems, or other oral health issues that may have developed during treatment.

Thank you for diligently taking care of the clinic every day, for your understanding when I am in a bad mood (hahaha), for being there to listen and keep my life dramas and secrets (you know what I mean, haha)! Additionally, I appreciate you always being there to uplift my spirits. I am thankful to the Lord for your existence! Happy Anniversary to us! Here's to our first year together, looking forward to busier schedules ahead. I apologize for our occasional late lunches - I know it's making your diet even more challenging.
