Retinol is a form of Vitamin A that’s suitable for all skin. It belongs to a group of Vitamin A derivatives, known as retinoids.

It has multiple uses. It prevent wrinkles due to its minimizing effect, as well as smooth out existing fine lines and wrinkles. It regulate oily skin and minimize breakouts. It brighten dull skin by exfoliating at cellular level which results in brighter and smoother new skin. It fade dark age spots, sun spots, hyperpigmentation and even out complexion over time.

As we age, Our skin cell turnover and collagen production slows. When applied topically, Retinols help your skin cells and function back to a more youthful state.

How? Retinol helps speed up cellular turnoever to keep pores unclogged, reducing acne and breakout.

RETINOL IS SAFE FOR OUR SKIN. BUT!!!
If we rush into things and dont use it properly, it can come with some unwanted side effects. First-time retinol users have reported irritation, redness, dryness and micropeeling.

Yes it can be beneficial for all skin type BUT it isn’t a one-size fits all. Remember. RETINOL isn’t a QUICK FIX. But it is proven to work wonders.

Additionaly, Start with a low concentration around 0.2%.

AVOID retinol if you are going to be spending a lot of time in direct sunlight without proper sun protection. SPF is a MUST!
