The World Health Organization recommends the proportion of COVID-19 tests coming back positive should remain below 5% to ensure the spread of the virus is under control. The COVID-19 positivity rate in Metro Manila has reached 25.4% on May 13.
“High positivity rates seen in Bataan, Batangas, Benguet, Bulacan, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Isabela, Laguna, Oriental Mindoro, Pampanga, Quezon [and] Rizal,” OCTA fellow David Guido added.
