Down the Mississippi River

Mississippi River is the foreground to many beautiful antebellum mansions along the Louisiana and Mississippi borders.

Prior to the Civil War, Natchez had more millionaires than any other city in the United States.

Most of the owners were wealthy politicians who came from the North and started multiple businesses exporting sugar cane, to***co and cotton.

This trip was very educational and we learned more about the Civil War Era than what they taught us in school.
