AURORA COPS ARREST SUSPECT FOR GRAVE THREAT, FACES MORE RAPS FOR ILLEGAL DRUGS AND FI****MS
Chief PNP’s program thrusts for peace and security noted another success as Aurora Police Provincial Office thru Dilasag Municipal Police Station’s and 2nd Aurora Provincial Mobile Force Company’s prompt response made the arrest of a suspect for Grave Threat, Violation of RA 9165 and RA 10591 on September 21, 2022 at about 10:57 in the morning in Brgy. Diagyan, Dilasag, Aurora.
Citing the report of PMAJ EDGARDO L JAVAR, Chief of Police, Dilasag MPS, at about 6:54 AM same date, the victim personally appeared at 3rd MFP, 2nd APMFC in Brgy. Diagyan, Dilasag, Aurora and reported that he went to the suspect and asked for the payment of his debt when the latter pointed him a gun.
Immediately, personnel of the mentioned unit, together with the complainant, responded and saw the suspect sitting on a hammock and holding a long undetermined caliber of long firearm. The suspect saw the police and instantly fled but was chased and apprehended.
Seized from the suspect was a long firearm, without serial number, loaded with 3 live ammunitions and attached with a black pouch on its sling. Also seized from him was a caliber .38 revolver with serial number 41108 loaded with 6 live ammunitions tucked in his right hip.
Further, with a barangay official as witness, the said black pouch was checked and found out the six pieces of plastic heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) with undetermined weight and cash worth Php 23, 750.00 in different denominations.
The arrested person was brought to RHU for medical examination and was placed under the custody of Dilasag MPS for proper documentation and disposition while cases for Grave Threat and Violations of R.A. 9165 and R.A. 10591 were being readied.
PMAJ JAVAR commended the operating unit for a job well done. He reiterated that Dilasag MPS, 2nd APMFC and other units are all dedicated to combat all forms of criminality within and beyond its areas of responsibilities.
