The Provincial Government of Abra announces the suspension of classes in all levels in both public and private schools throughout the province on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Work in all government offices in the province is likewise suspended.

𝐇𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬.

For private establishments, the decision to suspend work shall be left to the discretion of their respective employers.

The suspension is a precautionary measure to help safeguard the safety and well-being of our learners, teachers, government employees, workers, and their families amid the prevailing weather conditions.
