you gave Cyrill Astorga Bathan to them as their son. Give them the assurance
that though he has passed from their sight,
he has not passed from your care.
Draw near to them in their sadness,
bring blessing out of grief,
and help them in their tears and pain
to know you standing alongside to them
and to experience your love and healing;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

In your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust my brother Alex. In this life you embraced him with your tender love; deliver him now from every evil and bid him eternal rest. The old order has passed away: welcome him into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain, but the fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
