A death row inmate was asked for his last wish before ex*****on. He requested a pen and paper and wrote to his mother:

"Dear Mom,
If the law was fair, you would be sitting next to me, waiting to be executed. But since the law is blind, I am the only one convicted for the crimes we committed together.

Mom, do you remember when I was 3 and stole my brother’s sweets? You said nothing. At 5, I took our neighbor’s toys – you didn’t correct me. When I was 12, I hid my cousin’s ball, and you pretended not to see it. At 15, when I was expelled, Dad wanted to punish me, but you argued with him and defended me. When I stole a bike at 17, you stayed silent.

You loved me, but you never corrected me. Now, I am here because of that. By the time you read this, I will be gone.
