Your beginner’s guide to using retinol(also for advance)

Retinol is one of the most powerful skincare ingredient that you can use for anti-aging, hypermentation, large pores, and something skin texture. However a lot of people dont know how to use properly and ended up damage their skin barrier even more so let me share simple yet effective skincare routine if you want to add retinol in your skincare routine!

Some tips:
1. Only use retinol once a week first and then later gradually increase 2-3x a week to give you skin enought time to adjust.

2. only use pea-sized amount of retinol for your whole face! less is more of this ingredient. use the sandwich method (moisturizer-retinol-moisturizer)

3. start with a low percentage of retinol (usually 0.1%)
and your skin become immume to it after using it to 1-2 years, only then can switch to higher retinol percentage such as 0.2%.

4. avoid using vitamin c serum, salysilic acid, BHA, AHA and Kojic acid at the same time.

5. dont forget to use sunscreen everyday.☀️

6. apply retinol only in evening🌙

7. Be patient Retinol works slowly but surely somyou should start seeing the results 1-3 months it dependa to your skin.
