November 27, 2023 (Monday nearest November 30/Bonifacio Day) is a 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆.

This year, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declared November 27 as a non-working holiday and November 30 as a working day under Proclamation No. 90.

Every employee covered by the Holiday Pay Rule is entitled to the minimum wage rate (daily basic wage). This means that the employee is entitled to at least 100% of the minimum wage rate even if the employee did not report for work, provided the said employee is present or is on leave of absence with pay on the work day immediately preceding the holiday.

Work performed on that day merits at least twice (200%) the daily wage of the employees.
