4. Magsipilyo dalawang beses o higit pa araw araw. Tandaan na hindi lamang ngipin ang nililinis ng sipilyo. Dapat ding matanggal ang plaque sa pagitan ng ngipin at gilagid. Hagurin din ng sipilyo ang dila upang matanggal ang mga bacteria.
5. Minsan ay napakabilis nating magsipilyo. Ang tamang pagsisipilyo ay umabot dapat sa dalawang minuto.
6. Gumamit ng dental floss araw araw. Ginagamit ang floss para matanggal ang mga pagkain na naipit sa pagitan ng mga ngipin at para matanggal rin ang plaque sa ibabaw ng gilagid.
6. Magpalit ng sepilyo kada tatlo hanggang apat na buwan o mas madalas pa kung napupudpod na ang sepilyo.
7.Gumamit ng toothpaste na walang cemicals dilikado sa ipin at gum..
