Beauty from Ashes
A woman who is a sinner. A personal journey to healing, forgiveness and restoration.

We exhaust ourselves fighting against realities we cannot change—the past we wish had gone differently, the present that doesn't match our expectations, the future we cannot control. We clench our fists and demand explanations, convinced that if we just resist hard enough, something will shift.
But acceptance says: God is good. He is sovereign. He has all things under His control—including this thing I desperately wish were different. And because I trust His character, I can rest in His plan even when I don't understand it.
This doesn't mean we stop praying for change or advocating for what's right. It means we release the outcome to God and choose peace over panic, trust over turmoil. Acceptance is where the battle ends and the rest begins.

Do you often feel weary with exhaustion?
Maybe you are carrying a burden you were never meant to bear.
"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." — Matthew 11:28-29
Notice Jesus didn't say "think about Me" or "acknowledge Me from a distance." He said come. Approach. Draw near. Actually transfer the weight you're carrying to the One strong enough to bear it.
Take a moment right now...come to Him.

Matthew 3:8 NLT
"Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God."
True repentance is not just words of apology or tears of regret; it’s a changed heart that results in changed actions. When someone continues to walk in the same sin or remains connected to what once caused them to fall, repentance hasn’t taken root. It’s like pruning a branch but leaving the root of bitterness untouched — it only grows back stronger.
True repentance is not just about feeling sorry or asking for forgiveness; it is about humility — the humility to admit, “Yes, I have sinned before the Lord.” It’s the heart that stops making excuses and starts surrendering to God’s transforming work.
When we truly repent, we recognize that every action carries consequences. God is not punishing us; we simply reap what we sow. Yet even in our failures, the beauty of God’s grace shines — because He walks with us through the consequences, helping us rise and choose the path of holiness, righteousness, and godliness.
Humility is the fruit of true repentance. It is seen in a teachable spirit, a heart that welcomes correction instead of rejecting it. Pride says, “I deserve respect,” but humility says, “I need grace.” Pride defends sin; humility confesses it.
When pride rises, correction feels like judgment, and truth feels like an attack. But Scripture reminds us that “those whom the Lord loves, He disciplines” (Hebrews 12:6). Correction is not condemnation — it’s love in action, a call to restoration.
And when we humble ourselves before God, He lifts us up (James 4:10). He doesn’t leave us in shame; He restores us with love.
Forgiveness and repentance go hand in hand. Forgiveness opens the door of mercy, but repentance is what steps through that door and walks in newness of life. Without repentance, grace is misunderstood, and sin remains unbroken.
May we never lose heart when truth is resisted. Instead, let us pray for hearts — including our own — that are soft before God. Hearts that don’t justify sin, but yield to His loving correction. Because true repentance doesn’t just speak of change — it lives it out.

It’s wild how the enemy doesn’t always need to shout lies - sometimes he just whispers “Did God really say that?” The goal is to make you doubt what you already know is true. But God’s Word hasn’t changed. What He said then still stands now. 🙌📖✝️

The greatest victories aren't won through our competence but through our communion with God.
The most effective ministry doesn't flow from our gifts but from our surrender. Our best work—the work that echoes in eternity—happens when we stop trying to do it in our own strength and start doing it from our knees.
What situation are you trying to handle standing up that needs to be approached on your knees?

There comes a point when you realize that no matter how hard you try to control every detail, your story will never unfold the way you planned—and that’s okay. Because it was never meant to.
When she finally let go of her timeline, her expectations, her need to understand everything… peace found her. And in that surrender, God began to move in ways she never imagined.
Doors opened that she never even knew existed. Opportunities, healing, and joy started flowing where there used to be fear and striving. That’s what happens when you trust the Author instead of trying to be one.
If you’re tired, confused, or wondering what’s next—pause. Hand the pen back to God. His story for you is far greater than the one you’ve been trying to write on your own. 🤍🙏🏻

Here's a truth that challenges our expectations: God is far more committed to your holiness than your happiness. He cares more about your character than your comfort. And friend, that's actually the best news you could hear.
If God's primary goal was our comfort, He would remove every hardship, smooth every rough edge, and grant every wish. But comfort creates complacency, not Christlikeness. It's in the refining fire of difficulty that our faith is purified. It's through the pressure of trials that Christ's character is formed in us.
The question isn't whether life will be comfortable, but whether we'll cooperate with God's sanctifying work. Will we resist the refining, or will we trust that He's creating something beautiful through the process?

Grace isn't permission - it's power. Power to live free. Power to walk differently. Power to become who God called you to be. 🙌⛓️
"For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh." Galatians 5:13 📖✝️🤎

Broken relationships have a way of creating stalemates where everyone waits for the other person to make the first move. But what if being right with God compels us to be the bridge-builders?
This doesn't mean being a doormat or ignoring genuine hurt. It means following Christ's example of pursuing peace while maintaining truth. Sometimes reconciliation is immediate; sometimes it's a process. But it always begins with someone choosing to move first.
What relationship is God asking you to take the first step toward healing?

Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer. The antidote isn't for their sake—it's for yours.
Forgiveness doesn't minimize the hurt or excuse the wrong. It simply refuses to let someone else's actions continue to control our emotional well-being. It's choosing our own freedom over their failures.
How has choosing forgiveness brought freedom to your life?

Job proved that someone can lose everything and still worship. Solomon showed us that you can have everything and still feel empty. These truths hit deeply.
Life has a way of throwing both seasons at us—times of loss and lack, and times of abundance and ease. But neither one guarantees peace, joy, or fulfillment. Job, stripped of everything, still lifted his heart to God. Solomon, surrounded by wealth, wisdom, and power, still found himself searching for meaning.
The message is clear: our hearts were made for something more than riches or success. We were made for God.
Money is nice. Comfort is a blessing. But when the LORD fills your heart, there’s a depth of peace and purpose that the world simply can’t match. Let’s hold tightly to that truth today. No matter what you’re walking through—whether a valley or a mountaintop—God is our true treasure. 🙏🏻🤍
