Great wall of China a massive series of fortifications spanning roughly 13,000 miles built across China's historical Northern Borders over a period of 2,000 years.
It was Quin unification around 220 BC, Emperor Quin Shi Huang united china & ordered internal walls removed,linking the northern defense lines under General Meng Tian to fend off the nomadic Xiongnu.
The materials includesd were made of primarily compacted earth,stones & rammed earth.
This wall protected china's border,controlled immigration and regulated trade.
I'd only seen this before in the book but now I'm standing to this massive great handy artwork.
