High Blood Pressure – Mga Pagkain na Dapat Iwasan👇
1️⃣ Maaalat na pagkain
✔️ Tama. Ayon sa World Health Organization, ang sobrang sodium (asin) ay isa sa pangunahing dahilan ng pagtaas ng blood pressure.
Inirerekomenda na mas mababa sa 5 grams ng asin bawat araw.
2️⃣ Processed at fast food
✔️ Tama. Ang processed meats tulad ng hotdog at bacon ay kadalasang mataas sa sodium at saturated fat, na maaaring magpataas ng BP at risk sa heart disease.
3️⃣ Matatabang karne
✔️ Mostly true. Ang mataas na saturated fat mula sa taba ng baboy at pritong pagkain ay maaaring magpataas ng cholesterol at magdulot ng atherosclerosis o pagbara ng ugat.
4️⃣ Mga matatamis
✔️ May scientific support. Ang sobrang asukal ay maaaring magdulot ng weight gain at insulin resistance, na parehong risk factor sa hypertension.
5️⃣ Alak at sigarilyo
✔️ Tama. Ang sobrang alcohol at paninigarilyo ay nagpapataas ng risk ng hypertension at sakit sa puso ayon sa American Heart Association.
6️⃣ Kape at energy drinks
⚠️ Partially true.
Ang caffeine ay pansamantalang nagpapataas ng BP sa ilang tao.
Ngunit para sa maraming healthy adults, 1–2 tasa ng kape kada araw ay kadalasang ligtas, kung walang ibang medical restriction.
7️⃣ Atsara at fermented foods
✔️ Partially true.
Hindi lahat masama, pero mataas sa sodium ang karamihan kaya dapat limitado lang lalo na kung may hypertension.

Mostly TRUE at evidence-based ang impormasyon, lalo na tungkol sa pagbawas ng asin, processed food, at unhealthy fats para makontrol ang hypertension.
📌 Dagdag na Tip (evidence-based):
Maraming doktor ang nagrerekomenda ng DASH Diet, isang eating plan na mataas sa gulay, prutas, whole grains, at low-fat dairy para makatulong pababain ang blood pressure.
