RMC 3 MEDIA Comm

The Regional Management Committee (RMC) of Region 3 recently hosted the "2025 Regional Age Group Taekwondo Championship" on September 20, 2025, at the Subic Sports Complex in Brgy. Wawandue, Subic, Zambales.

The event saw participation from taekwondo jins across Region 3, including those from Angeles City, and the provinces of Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Bataan, Zambales, and Pampanga, as well as cities like Cabanatuan and Olongapo, among others. Participants ranged in age from toddlers to juniors (17 years old and below).

These taekwondo jins showcased their skills and gave their best to win medals and earn recognition. The competition was categorized into different levels:

- Novice (Yellow belts / Blue belts)
- Advance 1 (Red belts / Brown belts)
- Advance 2 (Pure Black belts)

The event was made even more significant by the presence of Master Noel Veneracion, PTA Technical Committee Member and Luzon Chairman, who witnessed the impressive performances of Region 3’s young taekwondo athletes. He was assisted by the RMC Region 3 Board Members, led by:

- RMC R3 Chair: Dauphin Capati Punzalan, Ph.D.
- RMC R3 Vice Chair: Wesley Jr. D. Averhart
- RMC Board Members: Novem Pangilinan and Elvino Romero
- Along with guest representative from the Office of the Mayor of Subic, Mr. Ferdinand "Coach Ferds" Castillo, Subic Municipal Sports and Youth Development Officer.

The RMC Board of Region 3 extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the coaches, players, and parents for their unwavering support and commitment to joining this event. Special thanks also go to the R3 Technical Working Committee, including the PTA National Referees and R3 Games & Technical Committee Members, for their dedication and excellent officiating.

Additionally, RMC 3 expresses gratitude to:

- The Traffic Management Group of Subic for efficiently managing parking
- The Security Group for ensuring the safety of all delegates
- The SSC Utility Team for maintaining cleanliness throughout the venue

As RMC 3 always says: "This event wouldn’t have been possible without your cooperation and support." We are equally thankful to all our sponsors who made this event successful.
