Another remarkable milestone for youth health and empowerment! The Cauayan District Hospital - Adolescent Health and Development Program, in partnership with the Cauayan Primary Care Facility and the Pag-asa Youth Movement of the Philippines (PYAP) - Barangay Inayauan, successfully facilitated "Adlaw sang Pamatan-on" in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan! 🎉

This impactful event brought together passionate youth and student leaders from:
📍 Barangay Inayauan & Barangay Linaon
📍 Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) leaders from Eva J. Montilla Farm School, Florentina Recto Memorial National High School, and St. Joseph High School Inc.

💡 Key Event Highlights:

Adolescent Health That Matters & STI (HIV/AIDS) Awareness – Informative sessions equipping our young leaders with essential knowledge about their health and well-being.

Voluntary HIV Testing – Promoting proactive health checks and safe choices.

Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Awareness – Essential safety and emergency response training.

The Safe S*x Pledge – A powerful moment of commitment where participants pledged to prioritize their education, avoid premature sexual activity, prevent teenage pregnancy, and focus on their bright futures. 📚✨

Our youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are leading today! A huge thank you to all the organizers, partner agencies, school heads, and youth participants who made this event a resounding success. Together, we build a healthier, safer, and more informed generation! 💙💪

In celebration of National Hospital Week 2026, the Cauayan District Hospital Adolescent Health and Development Program (AHDP) brought extra energy to the streets during the "Takbo para kay Juan at Juana: A CDH Run for Health & Wellness" last August 8, 2026!

We dedicated an exclusive 7km Special Category intended specifically for Cauayan Teens!

This special route gave our local youth the perfect opportunity to:
✨ Run alongside their peers in a dedicated age group
✨ Build camaraderie and connections
✨ Embrace a active, healthy, and wholesome lifestyle

At CDH, we strongly believe in nurturing our youth across all aspects of life. Engaging our teens in sports today helps shape their discipline, resilience, and character—preparing them to become the strong, healthy leaders of tomorrow.

To all our brave, active, and energetic Cauayan teens who laced up their running shoes and conquered the 7km stretch: We are so proud of you!

🎨 Nurturing Nature, Fueling the Future! 🌿🖌️

As we capped off our Nutrition Month celebration last July 31, 2026, the Cauayan District Hospital - Adolescent Health and Development Program (AHDP) brought together vibrant young minds for an inspiring Nutrition Month Painting Contest!

Fourteen talented high school artists from across the Municipality of Cauayan showcased their creativity, interpreting this year’s theme: "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan." Through every brushstroke, these students powerfully captured the crucial connection between healthy living and caring for our environment.

🏆 Congratulations to Our Champion! 🏆
A huge round of applause to Micah Valdez from Tuyom National High School for emerging as the Grand Winner! Micah walked away with a cash prize, trophy, certificate, and a token of appreciation for an outstanding artistic masterpiece.

Every single participant showed incredible heart and talent. To show our gratitude for their dedication, all 14 contestants received cash prizes, tokens, and certificates of participation.

This activity served as a wonderful platform to empower our youth and honor their artistic talents. We extend our deepest, heartfelt gratitude to all the School Heads, teachers, and advisers for giving their students the time, support, and opportunity to participate in this memorable event.

Together, let us continue to champion youth wellness, creativity, and a greener, healthier future! 💚✨
