Frankincense has a rich history spanning many civilizations and thousands of years. It was valued more than gold and “used to treat every conceivable ill known to man”. It is mentioned in one of the oldest known medical records, which is from the sixteenth century BCE.

Frankincense promotes a strong immune system and healthy cells in our body. It has an uplifting effect on the spirit, helps our muscles to relax, and promotes a healthy respiratory system. It contains sesquiterpenes (compounds that can cross the blood brain barrier) which can stimulate different parts of our brain and promote healthy neurological function.

🔹 Uses:
I like to apply frankincense to the bottoms of my feet or across my belly to give my immune system a boost.
Add a drop of frankincense along with a drop of lemon essential oil in a spoonful of raw honey to help support your respiratory and immune systems in the winter.
Add frankincense to our elderberry syrup that we take daily, which adds to the elderberries’ antiviral and immune stimulating properties.
Frankincense may be used both internally and topically to help support healthy cell formation and growth in our bodies, helping to maintain the body's ability to have cells without mutations or abnormal growth.
Frankincense has a very unique scent that took me a while to get used to.
