The most frequent question I get from my new Lumiere clients:

“Is it normal to have breakouts during the few days I started using Lumiere?”

I am sharing this, to once and for all address this matter based on my own experience and avoid misinformation esp. to the new Lumiere users.

YES! Having breakouts while using the product is normal especially in the first few times you started using Lumiere.

This process is called PURGING, it’s when the excess oil, dirt and sebum are being lifted out by the product. If you have clogged pores and dirt, it will mature into pimples. If you have pimples, it will turn into larger ones.

When this happens, do not stop using the product. It is just your skin’s way of telling you that the product is working as intended. Our skin adjusts with the product to give the expected result.

Not everyone can experience purging. It has no timeline as well. You will have breakouts as many times as needed for your skin to adjust and for the dirt to be completely cleared out.

In my case, I have an acne prone type of skin. I still experience sudden breakouts especially when it’s the time of the month or when I get inadequate sleep or whenever I’m stressed. And as an employee who works night shift, sleeping and avoiding stress is very challenging for me. I usually don’t get enough rest that I need.

But for me, my skin is way better than before. I still have flaws but I am confident enough that my skin is protected and well taken care of. ☺️

Know that there is no such thing as “PERFECT” skin, there will always be imperfections no matter what. But having Lumiere to take care of your skin is important bc it shows HUGE DIFFERENCE - it radiates, it glows. ✨

Also, please do not just rely on what the product can do. Self-discipline plays a big role in achieving that radiant glow bc it also requires hardwork, patience and consistency.

As much as possible:

✅ Sleep/Rest as much as you need
✅ Drink plenty of water
✅ Practice good hygiene
✅ Always wear your SPF, sunblock is a must!

My honest review of lumiere skin vitals facial set:
na.discover nako ang lumiere is through instagram,
then na.curious man gud ko of unsa ni sya na product
kay daghan pod ko acne sauna before pa ko nakagamit ani nga product. Katong sa una nagpa.derma na ko,then gipalitan pod nako to ilang mga facial set to the fact na nag.inom jud na ko sa tambal nila. Effective man unta ang derma pero need man gud consistency. D man ko ka.afford so nangita na lang ko lain alternative. I also tried eskinol and dalacin pero need man prescription ang dalacin. So nangita na pod ko until nakita nako ang lumiere. Nahadlok pa gane ko mu.try as in nagduha duha jud ko kay basin magkapimples na pod ko. Mo.react na pod ang product sa akong skin. Pero i took the risk gihapon. Luckily ning.uyon akong face niya. Nakabutang sa instructions nila na one week sa niko
ipahuway imong face meaning wala sa jud kay gamiton any products before using lumiere. Nung na.try na ako ang lumiere, first few days medyo hapdi akong nawong, pero na.gets na nako kay nakabutang man pod sa ilang instructions nila na maka.feel kana hapdi then magpeel ka. Na.notice nako na for about one or two weeks cguro na mag.peel ko. Then until na.notice na jud nako na ga.lighten na akong mga dark spots sa akong face and naglessen na pod akong mga pimples. Then isa pa akong na.observe ga.dry pod akong mga pimples everytime mo.gamit ko sa lumiere. After 3 sets, lumiere gihapon akong ginagamit karon. Naa ra gihapon ko pimples karon pero dili na kaayo sya daghan as in mga
one or two pimples na lang.

Para nako, effective jud ang lumiere. Dili man jud
paspas ang process sa lumiere pero at least worth it
ang products. Ang isa ka facial set kay mu.last up to
one month and more if kabalo ka mu.gamit. usually
ma.short jud ko sa toner. Hahahah. Mao na mopalit jud ko extra toner"
