LOOK: Catherine Bundoc, a resident of Barangay Tinago, Cebu City, has raised concerns over the effectiveness of the trash trap installed in Tejero Creek, saying it is too small to prevent large debris from passing through.

According to Bundoc, large branches and garbage bags continue to drift past the net despite its installation.

She also said she has observed some people still throwing their garbage directly into the creek.

Bundoc urged residents to dispose of their waste properly, stressing that improperly discarded garbage will eventually affect the entire community.
