Remembering American producer and voice actor Lou Scheimer on his birthday (October 19, 1928 – October 17, 2013), who, along with Hal Sutherland and Norm Prescott, was one of the original founders of the production company Filmation. He played a significant role in the creation of the cartoons He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and BraveStarr, and co-produced Star Trek: The Animated Series.

Scheimer also provided hundreds of voices for shows such as Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, Jason of Star Command, The New Adventures of Gilligan, The New Adventures of Batman, Space Sentinels, The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse and Heckle & Jeckle, The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show, The New Adventures of Flash Gordon, Gilligan's Planet, Tracy the Gorilla on Ghostbusters, and Orko, Stratos, and King Randor on He-Man.
