We finally have our own Monstera Deliciosa. π This tropical beauty is what got me intrigued by foliage at the start. The pattern of their leaves are so fascinating and they can grow huge like this one that we lucked out on getting. π it even has a growing leaf behind her - excited to watch that unfold in the coming days. β¨β₯οΈ

Giddy to discover that we also have Neon Pothos! π
As one of the most popular and eye-catching varieties of pothos, neon pothos are low-fuss houseplants that are sure to brighten up any corner of your home with its bright and electric green foliage. The best part is, neon pothos are easy to care forβmaking them great for beginners or those with a notoriously brown thumb. ππ€

Pearls and jade pothos are named for their stunning green and white variegated foliage and are truly one of the more lavish pothos varieties on the market. Coming from the more popular, Marble Pothos, the Pearls and jade pothos have much smaller, thinner leaves, and their variegation pattern is slightly different as well. π
A little more temperamental than the golden Pothos, I found this in a corner in the garden sulking away. Hehe ππ€ will do my best to bring it back to its climbing glory.

The Golden Pothos, scientifically known as Epipremnum aureum, is a one of my current favorite houseplants. πͺ΄ Recognized for its heart-shaped leaves, which often display variegated patterns of green and yellow, it thrives in various indoor conditions - making it ideal for beginner plantitas like me. π
Golden Pothos is praised for its air-purifying qualities, it is low-maintenance and can tolerate low light, it also has trailing or climbing abilities, making it a beautiful living decor. ππ
Ours grows fairly quickly too - the plants in the picture are the same plants a few weeks apart. π₯°
A lil project with Golden Pothos in the bathroom. π They were the perfect low-maintenance babies to purify the air and maintain the zen in this sacred space. π

Excited to introduce one of my current favorites, the Pothos. For a baby plantita, this one is magical because itβs a very forgiving plant, taking care of itself as it trails off, from baby leaves to giant beauties. ππ
The alternative name βDevilβs Ivyβ for the Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) likely originates from its resilience and adaptability. Despite challenging conditions, this plant tends to thrive and is difficult to kill, earning it a reputation for being βdevilishlyβ hardy. Additionally, the cascading vines of Pothos are known for their vigorous growth, resembling a lush green waterfall, which might have contributed to the ivy association in the name. While the name suggests a certain robustness, itβs important to note that the plant is more of a blessing than a curse, especially for those who appreciate easy-care and aesthetically pleasing houseplants. πͺβ¨

Feeling a bit tired, ending the week strong with this Philodendron Serratum, also called the Tiger tooth. π―π§‘
This fascinating air-purifying plant has long narrow leaves with jagged edges. It loves the tropical climate so itβs easy to grow! π± The sawtooth shaped foliage makes this plant a showstopper when fully grown. π

A close cousin of the Monsteras, the Philodendron Bipinnatifidum, is commonly known as the Split-Leaf Philodendron. π
Itβs a tropical plant with large, deeply lobed leaves resembling Swiss cheese. Itβs appreciated for its impressive foliage and is often used as an indoor ornamental plant. This philodendron prefers bright, indirect light and moderate watering, making it a popular choice for interior spaces. πͺ΄β¨

Another plant collectible, the Philodendron Birkin is a popular houseplant known for its striking variegated leaves, featuring creamy white stripes on glossy green foliage. π€β¨
Like the bag, this birkin is low-maintenance plant, that can add a touch of elegance to any space. π

Monstera Adansonii, commonly known as the Swiss Cheese Vine, is a charming member of the Monstera family. I always thought monsteras were huge because of the name. Hihi but they have these babies too (that can grow huge when taken cared of well). β¨π
What makes it interesting is its distinctive leaves, which are full of natural oval and oblong holes, resembling a slice of Swiss cheese. This unique leaf structure allows the plant to adapt to lower light conditions in its native rainforest habitat by maximizing light exposure. Monstera adansonii is a delightful trailing or climbing plant, adding a touch of playful elegance to indoor spaces. π±
