Happy New Year!

SWEET VICTORY
After 10 years, our unrelenting lobbying has finally shaken the powers that be. Spas now are deleted from the list as entertainment business. This is long overdue. Better late than never!

Players from Cebu's wellness industry gathered for a workshop to review how far the industry has gone to fulfill its set goals and targets. DTI has committed to initiate a move to reconvene SWAC with the second generation wellness practitioners as lead movers!

CCCI is inviting two members of SWAC to attend the ASEAN Integration forum involving the importation of food and cosmetics. It will be held this Fri, July 18, 2014, at the CCCI office. I am encouraging beauty salons interested to attend to PM me their email address so i can forward the invitation.
