Emma Myers drew major attention during the screening event for A Good Girl's Guide to Murder Season 2, appearing with a darker and more mature style that many fans felt matched the tone of the upcoming episodes perfectly. Following her breakout success in Wednesday, Myers continues establishing herself as one of Netflix’s fastest-rising young stars.
Season 2 is already generating strong reactions online, particularly surrounding Myers’ portrayal of Pip Fitz-Amobi. Viewers and critics alike have noted the increased emotional weight carried by the character as Pip becomes more deeply consumed by dangerous investigations, unresolved trauma, and the growing psychological pressure surrounding the mysteries she faces.
Fans are especially praising how the new season expands Pip’s emotional complexity, making the character feel more exhausted, determined, and vulnerable while still maintaining the intelligence and curiosity that made audiences connect with her in the first place. The darker atmosphere and stronger emotional tension are already helping Season 2 become one of the platform’s most discussed young mystery releases.

The View has had a long run. For millions of Americans it has been a long and exhausting one.
What started as a roundtable talk format has steadily transformed into something most of the country stopped recognizing as balanced television a long time ago. The panel rarely surprises anyone. The targets are predictable. The outrage follows a reliable daily cycle. And the condescension toward everyday Americans, their faith, their families, and their values is baked into the format at this point rather than occasional.
For a show that claims to represent women's voices and diverse perspectives The View has managed to make roughly half the country feel like the subject of ridicule rather than part of the conversation. That is not an accident. It is a programming choice that has been made consistently for years.
The misinformation problem compounds everything else. When hosts speak with confidence about political and cultural issues to a daytime audience of millions the accuracy of what gets said matters enormously. The record there has not been impressive.
Corporate protection has kept the show in its prominent network slot long past the point where pure ratings logic would have demanded serious changes. That arrangement frustrates Americans who watch other voices and perspectives get canceled quickly for far less while The View continues its predictable daily programming without meaningful accountability.
The broader frustration this show represents is real and growing. Americans across the political spectrum are hungry for television that respects them, informs them honestly, and treats disagreement as something other than moral failure.
The View stopped offering that long ago. The audience deserves better. 📺🇺🇸

This is a defining moment in Hollywood. 📣 Oscar winner Emma Stone has officially signed onto a major boycott targeting Israeli film institutions.
She is one of the highest-profile names among more than 4,000 actors, directors, and industry professionals—including Mark Ruffalo, Joaquin Phoenix, and Tilda Swinton—who have pledged to refuse collaborations with festivals, production companies, and broadcasters they deem in "genocide and apartheid against the Palestinian people."
The pledge, organized by Film Workers for Palestine, is inspired by cultural boycotts against apartheid South Africa. They clarify that the movement targets , not individuals, and aims to pressure those who "whitewash, deny, or justify" the conflict.
The move has drawn strong condemnation from major studios like and Israeli creators, who argue it "silences" the very voices striving for dialogue.

A new poll is drawing attention for highlighting growing public skepticism surrounding major political events in the U.S., including reported security incidents involving President Donald Trump.
According to the survey (conducted April 28–May 4, 2026), a notable share of respondents expressed doubt or uncertainty about how some widely discussed incidents were reported and interpreted. The results suggest many Americans remain divided or unsure depending on the specific event and their political views.
The findings also point to a broader decline in public trust toward institutions, media coverage, and official narratives. Researchers say social media, misinformation, and political polarization continue to shape how people interpret major national stories.
Examples referenced in the survey include public political events and reported security-related cases between 2024–2026, with responses varying significantly based on political identity and preferred news sources.
Analysts emphasize that polls reflect public perception, not verified conclusions, and note that official investigations and legal processes remain the primary way facts are established.
The discussion adds to ongoing debates about trust, media influence, and political division in the U.S., where major events are increasingly viewed through different perspectives.

🚨BREAKING: Trump’s DOJ Launches Criminal Investigation into E. Jean Carroll Over Alleged Perjury!
The U.S. Department of Justice has opened a criminal probe into E. Jean Carroll, the writer who accused President Trump of sexual assault and won civil judgments against him.
According to CNN and multiple sources, the investigation focuses on whether Carroll committed perjury in a 2022 deposition by claiming no outside funding for her lawsuits—despite later revelations that billionaire Reid Hoffman covered some legal fees and expenses.
The inquiry targets her testimony tied to the two civil cases (the $5M sexual abuse/defamation verdict and the additional $83.3M defamation award), not the underlying assault allegations themselves. No charges have been filed yet, and Acting AG Todd Blanche has recused himself.

Hollywood became the center of political debate at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards after several celebrities made public statements criticizing U.S. immigration enforcement policies.
Actors including Mark Ruffalo, Wanda Sykes, Jean Smart, Ariana Grande, and Natasha Lyonne wore “BE GOOD” and “ICE OUT” pins as part of a campaign tied to recent ICE-related incidents, including the widely reported death of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis. The initiative, supported by advocacy groups, was meant to raise awareness about immigration enforcement and related civil rights concerns.
During red carpet interviews, some attendees also voiced strong political opinions, with Ruffalo sharply criticizing former President Donald Trump and other policies he associated with the administration.
The remarks and symbolic protests quickly spread online, sparking a polarized reaction. Critics accused celebrities of politicizing an entertainment event, while supporters defended their right to speak out on humanitarian and civil liberties issues.
The moment once again highlighted the growing intersection of Hollywood award shows and political activism, where celebrity statements often trigger wider national debate.

At just 15 years old, Laurent Simons, a Belgian prodigy often called “Belgium’s Little Einstein,” has officially earned his PhD in quantum physics at the University of Antwerp.
According to The Brussels Times, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis in November 2025, after already completing a bachelor’s degree in physics at age 12 and a master’s degree soon after. His research focused on Bose–Einstein condensates and analogies between boson states and black holes, and he also completed an internship in quantum optics at the Max Planck Institute in Germany.
Laurent has an IQ of 145, placing him among the top 0.1 percent of the population. He finished primary school at six, high school at eight, and was already being courted by tech companies in the United States and China by the time he was 12. His parents declined those offers, choosing instead to support his academic path in Europe, where he could focus on research that might benefit medicine and society.
Laurent’s ambitions go far beyond physics. Immediately after defending his PhD in Antwerp, he enrolled in a second doctoral program in medical science in Munich, focusing on artificial intelligence applications in medicine. His father explained that Laurent’s ultimate goal is to combine physics, chemistry, medicine, and AI to extend human life expectancy and even pursue biological immortality.

The ocean never stops moving and Japan just figured out how to turn that into electricity forever. 🌊 In 2025, Proteus Marine Renewables deployed the AR1100, Japan's first megawatt-scale grid-connected tidal energy system, installed in the Naru Strait near the Goto Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture. The turbine generates 1.1 MW of clean energy, directly accelerating the decarbonization of the Goto Islands' electricity supply. IHI Corporation also tested the Kairyu, a 330-ton subsea turbine that at a flow speed of roughly three knots can steadily generate 100 kilowatts of power. Unlike solar or wind, ocean currents are governed by gravitational forces and planetary motion, making tidal energy highly predictable years in advance. 🌏
Japan ranks fifth in the world for electricity consumption, has limited solar potential, and faces political difficulty expanding nuclear power after Fukushima, making this ocean energy breakthrough deeply personal for the country. While wind and solar have capacity factors between 10 and 40 percent, IHI reports ocean current capacity factors range from 40 to 70 percent, making it far more reliable. Proteus technology has already generated over 20 GWh of electricity across 25 deployments in six countries. ⚡ The ocean has always been Japan's greatest neighbor and now it is finally becoming its greatest power source too.
