My Business Story...
When I started my avon business in 1994, we lived in a squatter area in Muntinlupa City. We lived in poverty, yung pisong tuyo at 2 pisong mantika inuutang pa sa tindahan, yung walang magpautang ng bigas na tindahan dahil mukhang walang kakayanan magbayad, binibigyan ng saging ng kapitbahay para may pananghalian, at sa gabi lulugawin yung tutong para may hapunan.

From then, I promised myself to work hard. I started to have amazing dreams for my family and our children’s future. I cried out to God for help, hiling ko kay LORD bigyan ako ng pagkakataon mabago buhay namin, nangako ako kay LORD na kapag ako binayayaan niya, I will pass it forward, tutulong ako, BIBIGYAN KO RIN HANAPBUHAY LAHAT NG TAONG GUSTONG KUMITA at may pangarap.

I walked in at Avon Taft and started with P500 credit line. Avon gave me the chance to start my business. I felt privileged to be trusted by the company, and I promised to work hard fit for the trust the company gave me.

In year 1994 to 2000, I walked through the streets to sell our products earning 47.5% monthly and eventually became a franchise manager. Slowly, through hardwork and determination, I was able to fulfill my dreams for my children. My eldest became an engineer, my son now works in Texas as a teacher and my youngest is now an OB-Gyne Doctor.

Because of Avon, I was able to buy 2 cars and own a house in Avida Residences, Cavite. Through Avon’s trip incentive programs, I was able to travel for FREE to Australia, San Francisco, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Malaysia and Hongkong.
