NO DELAY IN RICE DISTRIBUTION—DILG PD OLIVO

PD Engr. Raymund Olivo clarified during the Kapehan sa Philippine Information Agency (PIA) held at DILG Provincial Field Office, Capitol Compound, on July 29, 2026.

This is in response to the accusations against the implementors of the rice assistance program circulating on different local media platforms especially on Facebook, that there is a delay in the rice distribution.

PD Olivo reiterated that the ₱77 million fund was downloaded to the provincial government in March this year. They (DILG) conducted an orientation on the guidelines in April. The procurement process took place in May, simultaneous with the listing of beneficiaries by MSWDOs/CSWDO. The first wave of distribution started on June 9.

The DILG has been tasked to supervise and monitor the implementation of the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU)—Rice Assistance.

Mokabat sa 14 ka barangay sa Davao del Sur ang gihatagan karon og dakong pagtagad sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Davao del Sur tungod kay namatikdan nga apektado sa iligal nga droga.

Sa pagtambong ni Agent Claudito Cañada, Provincial Director sa PDEA del Sur, sa Monday Convocation Program sa Davao del Sur Provincial Government niadtong Hulyo 27, 2026, gipamahayag ni Cañada nga niubos na sa 14 ka barangay ang apektado sa droga, diin gikan kini sa mokabat sa 225 ka barangay nga una nang apektado.

Gipadayag sa opisyal nga sa maong 14 ka drug-affected nga barangay, unom ang gikan sa Dakbayan sa Digos, upat ka barangay sa Kiblawan, tulo sa Bansalan, ug usa sa lungsod sa Santa Cruz.

Samtang giklaro nga ang kasagarang droga sa Davao del Sur mao ang Methamphetamine Hydrochloride kun Shabu ug Cannabis kun Ma*****na, busa gipalapdan ang operasyon. | via RadyoMaN Bien Abanos
