More than a Sniff Session, it was an evening where different interests came together under one roof.

Last night at IL Café, perfume enthusiasts, café aficionados, and curious first-timers gathered to explore fragrances, exchange stories, discover new scents, and connect with people who share the same appreciation for the little things that make experiences memorable.

What started as a simple fragrance event turned into conversations, recommendations, laughter, and a growing community of people brought together by a shared passion.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening one to remember. Here's to more gatherings, more discoveries, and more opportunities to connect over coffee and fragrance.

Someone walks past you and you suddenly turn around. 👀

Not because of what you saw. Because of what they left in the air BEHIND them.

That thing has a name.

We want you to make better choices every time you buy a perfume. So here is something worth knowing.

It is called SILLAGE. Pronounced see-yazh. 🇫🇷

It means the scent trail you leave behind as you move through a space.

SILLAGE is different from how strong your perfume smells on your skin.

It is what stays in the room after you have already left.

HEAVY SILLAGE — people notice you before you arrive and remember you after you leave. 🚶

LIGHT SILLAGE — stays close to your skin. Only noticeable to people right beside you.

Neither is better. It depends on the occasion and the space you are in.

EDP generally has STRONGER sillage than EDT because it has more fragrance oil inside.

You deserve to know the impression you are actually making, not just how you smell up close.

What you smelled in the first 5 minutes was NOT the full perfume.

Every perfume has THREE layers.

TOP NOTE — The first smell. Bright and light. Fades in 15 to 30 minutes.

MIDDLE NOTE — Appears after the top note. The true heart of the scent. Lasts 2 to 4 hours.

BASE NOTE — The deepest layer. What lingers for hours and makes people ask what you’re wearing.

What you smelled in the store was only the BEGINNING.

The real perfume comes AFTER. Wait at least an hour before deciding.

You deserve to experience the FULL story not just the opening line.
