Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Two High-Value Individuals (HVIs) were arrested and more than ₱908,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate anti-illegal drug operations carried out by Police Regional Office 3 in Bataan and Bulacan on September 9, 2026.
In Limay, Bataan, joint operatives of the Limay Municipal Police Station, Bataan Police Provincial Office, PRO3, and the Bataan Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a buy-bust operation at about 9:25 PM in Barangay Reformista.
The operation, coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 3, led to the arrest of a 56-year-old HVI after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer.
During the search that followed, police recovered another sachet of suspected shabu and a cellular phone. The seized drugs weighed approximately 73.58 grams and had an estimated Standard Drug Price of ₱500,344.
Earlier that day in the City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the San Jose del Monte City Police Station carried out a separate buy-bust operation in Barangay Muzon South.
A 25-year-old HVI was arrested after allegedly selling a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer. Two more sachets of suspected shabu were recovered during the operation.
The seized drugs in Bulacan weighed approximately 60 grams, with an estimated Standard Drug Price of ₱408,000.
In all, the two operations yielded approximately 133.58 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱908,344.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Jess B Mendez said the arrests reflect the continuing efforts of police units across Central Luzon to track down individuals involved in the illegal drug trade and prevent dangerous drugs from reaching communities.
“These accomplishments are the result of sustained intelligence work, close coordination, and the commitment of our personnel on the ground. We will continue to pursue those who profit from illegal drugs and put our communities at risk. At the same time, we will make sure that our operations remain focused, lawful, and respectful of the rights of every individual,” PBGEN Mendez said.
He added that the campaign supports the PNP Focused Agenda of Chief, PNP PGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr., particularly the intensified drive against illegal drugs and other threats to peace and order.
The confiscated substances will be submitted to the appropriate forensic units for qualitative and quantitative examination. Cases for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are also being prepared against the arrested individuals.
PBGEN Mendez said PRO3 will continue to pursue intelligence-driven and coordinated operations across Central Luzon as part of its commitment to deliver serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman.
