“𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼'𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀: 𝗦𝘂𝗮𝗻, 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘇, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹

Northern Mindanao Region's district representatives have been recognized for their exceptional performance in a recent RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. survey through its "Boses ng Bayan" program. The independent and non-commissioned survey aimed to assess the performance of District Representatives based on specific parameters such as district representation, legislation, and constituent service.

Lordan Suan of Cagayan de Oro (88.4%), Rufus Rodriguez of Cagayan de Oro (88.3%), and Cong. Ando Oaminal (88.1%) tied for first place as the region's best-performing district representatives.
Meanwhile, Sittie Aminah Dimaporo of Lanao del Norte and Christian Unabia of Misamis Oriental tied for second place with 85.5% and 84.7%, respectively.

Celso Regencia of Iligan City secured the third spot with a rating of 82.3%, while Jose Manuel Alba, Jonathan Keith Flores, and Jose Maria Zubiri Jr. all from Bukidnon, ranked fourth to fifth with scores of 80.6%, 78.4%, and 78.1%, respectively. Rounding up the list are Bambi Emano of Misamis Oriental (76.2%), Jason Almonte of Misamis Oriental (74.9%), Jurdin Jesus Romualdo of Camiguin (71.5%), Mohamad Khalid of Lanao del Norte (70.8%), and Laarni Lavin Roque of Bukidnon (70.7%).

The survey serves as a necessary tool to gauge the performance of district representatives and other public officials in fulfilling their responsibilities. It also highlights the need for accountability and transparency in public service, especially in these challenging times when the government's performance is under intense scrutiny.
RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. continues to conduct similar surveys to provide a voice to the people and help promote good governance, said Dr. Paul Martinez of RPMD.

The “House of Representatives Public Satisfaction” Northern Mindanao survey was part of the national poll “RPMD’s Boses ng Bayan” conducted on February 25–March 8, 2023, by RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc., a nationwide survey performed per district in every region with a total of 10,000 respondents who were registered voters. The sampling margin of error is ±1 percent with a 95% confidence level. They were randomly chosen, and the number of respondents per district was distributed proportionally based on official voting population data.
