Our research and development team is comprised of more than 150 scientists across the world with backgrounds in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, pharmacy, genetics, and sports science. With a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and a PhD investigating diet and nutritional molecular biology, Rachel joined USANA in 2016. She focuses on product development research, design, and evaluation, with particular interest in the human microbiome.

Executive Director of Global Health Education and Nutrition Research

With 41 years in public health—18 in the global dietary supplement industry—Rolando holds a master’s degree in public health and medicine.
