where to go? in Iloilo

During the pandemic days, I’ve already been hearing about CocinaProject. Like, kung mamangkot ka sang “Namit ba? Diin ni gin-order ang ribs?” ang sabat pirmi, “Sa Cocina Project ah.”

Until today, whenever I hear their name, I can’t help but think about their back ribs. But actually, they have so much more to offer in their branches in Jaro and Pavia.

It’s fascinating to see how much they’ve grown—from humble online beginnings, to pop-ups, and now their own dine-in branches. Proof gid siguro nga if you serve Ilonggos good food once, they’ll always find their way back to you. ❤️

Diri sa Dois Seafood & Big Plates, seafood lover ka man or allergic sa seafood, welcome ka gid! (kung allergic ka, cetirizine is the key haha jk) 😆

They’re actually known as one of the go-to spots in Iloilo if you’re craving seafood boil served boodle fight style—super pang-group kaon gid. But aside from their seafood buckets, damo gid sila non-seafood options like pizza, ribs (ang ila big plates nga legit dako gid 😭), kansi, sinigang, grilled meats, and more Filipino comfort food.

was really excited to try Asian Tita’s food because i’ve been hearing so many good things about it online—and thankfully, they truly lived up to the hype 😮‍💨 from the first bite pa lang, we already knew this place deserved all the good reviews it’s been getting. everything we ordered was flavorful, comforting, and super satisfying. honestly, it was that good that we cleared our plates in less than an hour 😭 and take note ha, their servings were huge too, so definitely sulit for the price.

you can really tell that the food was made with care because every dish just hits the spot. no wonder they’re one of the 5-star eats on Grab 👀⭐️ if you’re in Iloilo or anywhere near Pavia, hapit na diri kay indi ka gid maghinulsol 😌

since 2020, Coffee Crib has been serving Ilonggos quality drinks, hearty meals, and comfort food favorites. after finally trying what they have to offer, mahambal ko gid nga worth it balik-balikan 🤎 no wonder damo gid gahapit for coffee, breakfast, or even just a chill tambay.

also loved how they display artworks from local artists around the place, mostly featuring agriculture-related themes that highlight the lives and plight of our farmers — such a nice touch honestly. verdict: definitely worth the visit 👀

Ventuno Bar & Cafe might just ease your shredded cabbage coleslaw cravings with their own take on it. Easily my paborito of the day—fresh, light, and with that exceptionally crunchy texture on top of their chili cheese katsu. It’s something I’d definitely keep coming back for 🥹

Damo man sila iban pa gid nga food—from pasta, Ilonggo favorites (sizzling KBL?!), to café drinks—they surely never miss!! No wonder favorite gid siya gyapon kadtoan sang mga Ilonggo since 2021 🤎
