Somewhere between where I began and where I stand today, there is a story worth remembering.

For the Opening Ceremony, I am humbled to return to my roots wearing “MABANGLU,” my very first national pageant gown by Carl John Miranda, a sampaguita-inspired creation that holds a special place in my journey.

Wearing the very same gown again feels like meeting the girl I once was, the one who dreamed, dared, and took her first steps into this journey. And now, standing here in Thailand, I can’t help but realize just how far she has brought me.

The sampaguita may begin as a bud, but in time, it blooms.

And so did I. 💚
