Paper Plane Competition Mechanics:

1. Register your child for free at Happy Tummy Restaurant, The Square.

2. Bring your own paper to be used on the events date (preferably colored papers). Standard letter size (8.5” x 11”).

The sheet must be modified by folding only. No ripping, gluing, cutting, stapling, and/or ballasting is allowed.

3. Age requirement: Children between 6-12 years old



Long Distance Category:

The paper plane must be launched by 1 person. They must throw the paper plane unaided from behind a straight launch line marked on the grass. The distance is measured from the starting line to the furthermost part of the plane after it has come to rest. Each participant will be given 2 attempts; the organizer will recognize the higher record.



Accuracy Category:

Paper planes will be launched from a marked area on the grass. The score is based on the distance from the target position where the paper plane comes to rest. The paper plane must be launched by 1 person. The participant needs to have both feet on the ground during the attempt. A run-up or fast walk as part of the launch is not permitted, nor the use of ramps or similar devices. Two trials will be allowed per participant, and the better attempt counts.





Top 3 winners will receive the following:

A. 3rd place - Gift Certificate worth P200

B. 2nd Place - Gift Certificate worth P300

C. 1st Place - Gift Certificate worth P500 and a trophy



Awarding ceremonies is on April 23, 2023.
