Official Response to Allegations Regarding My Resignation as President of IPIL SHINE

I want to take this opportunity to clarify the misinformation being spread about my resignation as President of IPIL SHINE.

Let me make it clear: I did not step down because the organization lacked of unity. That claim is completely false. Like any group made up of passionate individuals, we had different ideas — but that’s normal in any organization striving for growth. Despite those differences, we remained committed to a shared purpose, and I’m proud of what we accomplished together during my term.

It’s unfortunate that instead of focusing on facts, some have chosen to make noise and point fingers without understanding the full picture. In particular, I find it disappointing that members of the YPAC particularly the Vice President of the organization continue to use my resignation as a talking point to elevate themselves while comparing their group to IPIL SHINE.

To YPAC VICE PRESIDENT: If you truly believe in your mission, prove it through action, not through unnecessary comparisons and baseless commentary. Focus on your own growth and stop dragging others down. IPIL SHINE does not exist to compete with anyone — we exist to serve, to grow, and to unite.

Leadership is not about who talks the loudest — it’s about what you do when no one’s watching. My resignation was a personal decision based on reflection and the timing I felt was right, not because of dysfunction or division.

I continue to support IPIL SHINE and hope everyone, including our fellow youth organizations, can move forward with integrity, maturity, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

INVITATIONAL IPIL SHINE QUEEN MARDI GRAS( 1 EXPOSURE ONLY)

Here’s a heads up to whats ahead for the First IPIL SHINE Pride Day 2025 in Celebration with the Pride Month.

We can't wait to announce the rest of what we lined up on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at FREEDOM STAGE Poblacion Ipil Zamboanga Sibugay.

IPIL SHINE Queen Mardi Gras 2025.

Competition Guidelines:

* The competition is open to all LGBTQIA+ communities entire MINDANO and must be at least 18 yrs. old and above.
*17 years old below must accomplish a Parent Consent Form.
* We are looking for first 25 Participants who will Register Online for the said competition(first Come first serve basis only with REGISTRATION of 500 Pesos)
The REGISTRATION will Start on June 1, 2025 and will end on June 15, 2025. For SLOTS reservation please contact the Ipil Shine President and the Event Chairman Mr. SAMUEL E. SACAPANO III - 09178323591(Gcash Number)
* The performance duration during the GRAND Showdown must be 30 seconds to 1 minute only. In every second exceed, a one (1) point deduction from the overall score.
* The performance sequence of the contingents will be based on draw lots.
* The contingents are expected to participate in the motorcade or Ride for Pride because there will be a Mass Station showdown for every Station.
* The Organizer will provide the music and mobile speaker or sound system for the motorcade.
* Costumes and props must be related to the Mardi Gras Festival and Pride Month Celebration.
* Avoid using Sharp objects or any dangerous props.
* Contingents must arrive (1 hour) before the proper time for the Ride for Pride. Late contingents are deducted 5points but they are allowed to join the parade and the Grand show down competition.
* The panel of judges shall determine the winners based on the criteria and the decision of the panel of judges shall be final and irrevocable.

Criteria for Judging:

Performance and Choreography (30%)
Relevance of the Attire (20%)
Costume and Props (40%)
Beauty (10%)

Total: 100%

PRIZES:

• 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻 1st Runner Up- Php. 10,000.00
