Melasma is tricky to treat. There is no one best treatment. Most effective are still going to be your prescription topicals + in-office procedures. 👉🏻Hydroquinone remains the most effective, along with topical retinoids and higher % azelaic acid. 👉🏻Oral Tranexamic acid can be helpful in recalcitrant cases 👉🏻Chemical peels can help expedite improvement and newer lasers show promising results.
