DOH: Panatilihing Kontrolado ang Blood Sugar Para Maiwasan ang mga Komplikasyon

Ang diabetes ay maaaring magdulot ng mga seryosong komplikasyon tulad ng sakit sa puso, pagkasira ng bato, at pagkabulag.

Kaya mahalagang mapanatiling kontrolado ang blood sugar upang maiwasan ang mga ito. Kumain ng masustansyang pagkain, regular na mag-ehersisyo, inumin ang maintenance na gamot ayon sa payo ng doktor, at regular na magpakonsulta sa inyong healthcare provider.

The Barangay Health Personnel successfully conducted another 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗸 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻, bringing essential healthcare services closer to the residents of the community. The activity was led by Dr. Carla Marie Retirado, MD, Rebecca Sua, RM, Maricar Cabaylo, RN, together with our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs).

During the activity, healthcare services were provided to:
