Mayor Solly Villalobos signed the Executive Order No. 69 Series of 2024. AN ORDER DECLARING SUSPENSION OF AFTERNOON FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES AT ALL LEVELS IN BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF STO.NIÑO FROM APRIL 3, 2024 (WEDNESDAY) TO APRIL 8, 2024 (MONDAY), UNLESS OTHERWISE EXTENDED OR LIFTED EARLIER.
Upon the consensus approved and agreed during the Emergency Meeting attended by the concerned offices of the Local Government Unit of Sto. Niño and the Department of Education-Sto. Niño District today, April 2, 2024, and in the consideration of consolidated reports from the school heads and the consistent high temperatures usually from 1:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M in the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, it is imperative to implement suspension of afternoon face-to-face classes in all levels both in public and private schools as preventive and mitigating measures to ensure the health and the general well-being of our school children.
