The Rural Improvement Club Federation, Incorporated (RIC) of Lal-lo participated in the 3-Day Enhancement Training on Lubeg Products, conducted by the Local Government Unit of Lal-lo through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), in partnership with the Municipal Tourism Office.

The first day of the training focused on the processing of Lubeg into w**e, jam, and vinegar, with Engr. Dauphine N. Alviar, owner of Grandeza Integrated Farm School, serving as the resource speaker.

The RIC Federation recognizes the importance of continuous skills development in strengthening livelihood opportunities and promoting locally sourced products.

Through initiatives such as this, our members are equipped with practical knowledge that can contribute to sustainable livelihood and the promotion of Lubeg as a homegrown product of Lal-lo.

Today, the Lal-lo Rural Improvement Club (RIC) Federation, Inc. once again proved that empowering women begins by creating opportunities that can grow into sustainable livelihoods.

Led by our Municipal Federation President, Hon. Maria Olivia B. Pascual, RIC Presidents and members from different barangays came together at FarmAnte for our Ube Planting Day, where 200 ube seedlings were successfully planted. More than planting crops, this activity symbolizes our shared commitment to cultivating brighter opportunities for women, strengthening food security, and promoting community-based livelihood initiatives.

This meaningful activity also forms part of the 52nd Nutrition Month Celebration
while embracing the call of "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan." Through the planting of nutrient-rich crops like ube, we continue to promote sustainable food production, environmental stewardship, and healthier communities.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to DA Region II for generously providing the ube seedlings that made this activity possible. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Local Government Unit of Lal-lo, headed by Mayor Florence Oliver B. Pascual, together with its attached agencies, especially BFP Lal-lo, for their invaluable support and participation in this initiative.

We are likewise deeply grateful to Former Mayor Florante C. Pascual and Vice Mayor Maria Olivia B. Pascual for generously allowing the Lal-lo RIC Federation to use FarmAnte—a farm where our members are freely given the opportunity to plant, cultivate crops, and pursue livelihood activities that help provide sustainable income for their families and communities.

The Rural Improvement Club has always been more than an organization—it is a community of women empowering women. Through initiatives like this, we continue to plant not only crops, but also hope, resilience, and a better future for every member.

Dumalo sa nasabing programa sina Vice Mayor Maria Olivia B. Pascual, Municipal Information Officer Mark Kevin Agcaoili, kasama ang mga miyembro ng Rural Improvemnet Club (RIC) ng Lal-lo, at Municipal RIC Coordinator Glenda Panaligan, bilang pakikiisa sa mga inisyatibang naglalayong palakasin ang sektor ng Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Kasabay rin ng summit ang Awarding of Best Buy Local LGU Implementer, bilang pagkilala sa mga lokal na pamahalaang nangunguna sa pagsusulong ng mga programang sumusuporta sa mga lokal na produkto at MSMEs.

The Lal-lo RIC Federation Inc. proudly announces its successful completion of all modules under the Shared Service Facilities – Local Advisory and Mentoring Program (SSF-LAMP) Batch 4, culminating in the successful presentation of its Business Improvement Plan (BIP).

This milestone was made possible through the exemplary leadership and unwavering support of our Municipal RIC Federation President, Hon. Maria Olivia B. Pascual, whose commitment to empowering the organization has greatly contributed to this achievement.

We also express our sincere appreciation to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 02, particularly the Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Project, for providing valuable guidance, technical assistance, and continuous support throughout the program.

The successful completion of the program reflects the dedication, perseverance, and active participation of the officers and members of the Lal-lo RIC Federation Inc. in pursuing organizational growth and sustainability.

We are honored to have qualified for graduation, with our RIC Secretary, Ms. Noemi Agcaoili, representing the organization during the SSF-LAMP Batch 4 Graduation Ceremony held on 18 June 2026 at SM City Tuguegarao.

This accomplishment marks another significant milestone for the Federation as we continue to strengthen our organization and promote inclusive and sustainable community development.

HAPPENING NOW | 6th RIC Monthly Regular Mobile Meeting

The Provincial RIC Federation of Cagayan is currently holding its 6th RIC Monthly Regular Mobile Meeting at the Lal-lo Multipurpose Center, with the Municipality of Lal-lo serving as this month's host.

The meeting is attended by Atty. Mabel Villarica-Mamba, RIC National President and Provincial Federation President of Cagayan, together with the members of the Lal-lo Rural Improvement Club Federation, Inc., led by Municipal Federation President Maria Olivia B. Pascual, Lal-lo Municipal Agriculture Officer Josephine Acebedo, Lal-lo Municipal Tourism Officer Rebecca Bautista, and Municipal RIC Presidents from various municipalities across the Province of Cagayan.
