“Angelo, bakit ang dami mong gunting?”

One question I always get from my clients.

I always tell them that each pair has its own purpose. One is for precision cutting, another for slicing, another for texturizing or thinning. Different techniques require different tools to achieve the best possible result.

Just like a chef has different knives, a hairdresser has different scissors.

I don’t see these as mere scissors. I see them as an investment in my craft and in the quality of service I give my clients.

That is why I was so honored to have Mr. Takeshi, the Japanese Samurai Scissors Master, personally visit my salon to tune and maintain my Samurai Scissors collection. Having the master himself care for the tools I use every day is something I truly appreciate.

At the end of the day, every haircut reflects not only the skill of the hairdresser but also the quality and precision of the tools behind it.

Kung talagang mahal mo at inaalagaan mo ang buhok mo, you would want it to be cut with professional shears chosen for the technique. Kasi ang magandang buhok hindi nangyayari by chance. It is the result of skill, precision, and the right tools.

For me, these are not just scissors. They are an extension of my hands, my passion, and my commitment to giving every client my very best.

After ages of not seeing each other, it was great to reconnect with my close high school batchmate Bernard, who flew in from the US with his lovely wife.

I’m truly honored that, despite having so many salon choices, they booked me well in advance and chose to support my business.

Almost 6 hours of hair color and haircut transformation later, sulit na sulit makita ang saya ni Bernard nang makita ang beautiful new look ng kanyang wife. Parang na-in love ulit! 😂❤️
