Pumasok siyang pagod, nasaktan, at halos wala nang confidence sa sarili.
Pero pagpasok niya sa salon…

Walang judgment.
Walang comparison.

Inalagaan lang siya.
And for the first time in a long time…
siya naman.
Habang ginagawa ang buhok niya, unti-unti niyang nakalimutan kung bakit siya umiyak kagabi.
Two hours later…
Napatingin siya sa salamin.
Wait—
SIYA BA ’YON?! 😭✨
Soft. Shiny. Healthy hair.
Pero parang may iba pang bumalik…
yung confidence niya.

Alam mo yung feedback na mapapangiti ka talaga habang binabasa?
“Sobrang ganda po ng outcome… mukhang natural lang din po pagkabagsak ng hair ko.”
“Ang shiny din po ng hair ko… Babalikan ’to!” 🥹✨
And THAT last line hits different.
Hindi lang dahil shiny yung hair niya.

Bago umalis papuntang work, may goodbye kiss pa si husband.
Sweet. Normal. Parang ordinaryong araw lang.
Until may nakita siyang cellphone na nakatago sa gamit ng asawa niya.
Hindi kanya.
At nung binuksan niya…
