“ONE DAY AT A TIME”

When we look at our problems we sometimes get overwhelmed with the magnitude of them all. We get paralyzed with fear and helplessness. Whether it be in a relationship, a career, finances or our own personal life. Are you in this situation today?

The best way I have discovered in dealing with this avalanche of problems is by taking everything One Day At A Time. We can’t solve all our issues overnight. We must trust that God will care of us in the moment we are faced with. He knows what we can handle and gives us the ability to face one day at a time. Matthew 6:34 says, "Do not worry, then, for the next day, because the next day will have worries of itself. Today's trouble is enough for the day.”

"LISTEN TO GOD'S STILL VOICE"


Deep within the sanctuary of our hearts and minds He speaks.
Much like a warning system protecting us from leaks.

A scale tipping the powers of good over evil.
Choices that easily mislead unwise people.

Temptations forever test our moral conviction.
Staying true to His Word keeps us from affliction.

His Holy Spirit is a silent voice often warning our soul.
In His desire and love He wishes to take control.

Our conscience loudly informs and instructs,
Like red lights and sirens so we don’t self-destruct.

The choices we make can change our path.
May it never lead us to experience God’s wrath.

When we are connected to God’s heart,
We can discern how He wants us to be set apart.

What a joy we have to be guided from within.
Knowing He always wants what is best for us to win!

Listen to His still small voice more than any other.
It will bring us into the safe arms of our Father.

“POWER of GOD through PRAYER”

The value of persistent prayer is not that God will hear us but that we will finally hear Him. God speaks in the silence of our hearts. Listening is the beginning of prayer. Prayer is the world’s greatest wireless connection. When life gets too hard to stand, it’s time to kneel. Prayer is the fastest thing on earth. It reaches God before you even say it.

God answers prayer in three ways:
1. “Yes” because you deserve it.
2. “No” because you deserve something better.
3. “Not Yet” because the best is yet to come.

God is the best listener, you don’t have to shout or cry out loud because He hears even the silent prayer of a sincere heart. One of the best prayers in life are two words, “Thank you.” P.R.A.Y. Praise - Repent - Ask - Yield. I pray that God would continue to watch over each and every one of you.

“ROCK BOTTOM”

That’s what people say we hit when we are shattered, broken and our life is crushed. Someone said, God sometimes allows us to hit “rock bottom” so that we will discover that He is the ROCK at the Bottom. I like that perspective!

Hopefully the Rock breaks our pride and self-sufficiency so that we would surrender our hearts and will in humility and repentance to Him. He will take all the broken pieces of our life and make them new! He created us in the first place and can easily remake us for His wonderful purpose. Hold on to the Rock!
