Hydration Glow Drip

He did not arrive as kings do.
There was no throne, no palace, no welcome fit for royalty.
He came quietly.
Gently.
Lowly.

The Son of God was born in borrowed shelter, laid in a manger. Scripture says, “She wrapped Him in cloths and laid Him in a manger” (Luke 2:7). Heaven touched earth not through splendor, but through meekness.

Jesus laid aside His privilege. He “made Himself nothing, taking the form of a servant” (Philippians 2:7).

The manger reveals the heart of God. A God who does not demand that humanity rise to Him, but One who comes down to meet us. A God who is not distant from weakness, but willing to dwell within it.

Christmas confronts our ideas of greatness. It asks whether the heart is still measuring worth by abundance, recognition, and comfort or whether it is willing to receive a Savior who comes clothed in humility.

The gold came later, offered by wise men who bowed before Him. But it was not the gold that made Him King. It was His obedience. His love.

His willingness to come low so sinners could be lifted high.

The greatest gift of Christmas was never wrapped in gold.
It was wrapped in humility-

so every weary, broken, and waiting heart could draw near to His unending love.

Just as You said, “Peace, be still,”
and the winds and waves obeyed You (Mark 4:39)
speak those same words over us now, Lord.
