The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration, assess ongoing operations, and explore opportunities for improving research, innovation, and production services.

✨ Inauguration and Blessing of the SLSU Sanitation Facility ✨

Southern Luzon State University officially inaugurated and blessed its Sanitation Facility at Brgy. Ayuti, marking a major milestone in innovation and community service. The ceremony was highlighted by a Holy Mass led by Rev. Msgr. Melecio V. Verastigue, who emphasized that true blessings come from the land.

University officials and partners recognized the facility’s vital role in producing sanitation products such as kamias soap and ethyl alcohol from lambanog, innovations that proved essential during the COVID-19 pandemic. Funded by the Department of Budget and Management, the facility reflects SLSU’s commitment to science-based solutions, collaboration, and sustainable agriculture.

The event concluded with a ribbon-cutting and the planting of kamias saplings—symbols of continuity, growth, and service to the community. 🌱
