𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴… “𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬: 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯?”

“𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵.”

Pageantry is a symbolism of womanhood. More so, it is a transcendental action in enriching initiatives for greater good. It is both a nerve-racking and fantabulous moment for candidates to share their advocacies. Some might be eyeing for the crown, and some for the grand prize. Who knows, which is which?

But for 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮, the crown is just a bonus. Walking on the runway gave her the opportunity to meet new people, help those in need, and promote advocacies that she is passionate about.

This wonderful woman proudly joins pageantry for a cause and has represented both a city and a province. She also achieved various crowns such as the recently concluded Miss Fit Philippines 2025, Mutia ti La Union Kalikasan, and many more. Truly a platform that uplifts the afflicted, and integrates womanhood at its finest.

𝘼 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙨; 𝘼 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰?

Outside pageantry, Katrina is also a friend, a daughter, and a student. Proudly taking up the course Bachelors of Arts in Political Science at Saint Louis University, she is also a talented and choral singer of SLU–GLEE Club.

For someone who juggles pageants, academics, and her talents, she vows to be a testament that women are limitless, regardless of how society sees them. She uses her singing voice not just for entertainment, but as a reflection that women can be as multifaceted as they wish to be. As a student public figure, she aims to be a bedrock of transformation, using her platform to inspire other women to be who they are—to fulfill their hopes and dreams.

𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨

“𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴, 𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. 𝘓𝘦𝘵’𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦,” remarked Calica.

As an ambassador for women’s empowerment, Calica dedicates her life to enlightening individuals to embrace womanhood and recognize their full capabilities. Challenging the societal notion that motherhood is the “only” expected future for women, she strives to inspire the belief that women are limitless and can pursue careers as future professionals as well.

She has always believed that Filipinas are limitless, and through pageantry, she can be a voice for them, using the platform to highlight women’s concerns. As a student public figure, she wishes to give hope and support to women in different areas—even in micro ways—while also creating macro effects that can inspire many Filipinas to reach their fullest potential.

𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙁𝙞𝙜𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩: 𝙈𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮

Calica is not just a queen that poises, she’s also a woman with purpose who is brave enough to speak about certain issues circling the lives of many. She expressed compassion over problems currently faced by humanity, particularly the Pinays outside our country who have been experiencing non-stop bombings and rocket launches.

Upholding the heart and soul of Louisians and carrying the four core values of SLU, Calica vowed to represent women with a Christian spirit wherever she goes. She is also thankful for the opportunities provided by the different places that shaped her, as well as for the pageant organizations that nurtured her grace and inspired her to be a pillar for women, such as 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 and 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 – 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

As someone who enriches captivating importance for women and their capabilities, Miss Calica showed that the real essence of beauty radiates from within. Walking with glamorous dresses, wearing luxurious jewelry, and carrying a crown are just bonuses in life—the real and best way to succeed in pageantry is to create an amazing life beyond it.
