On April 1, 2026, we went to Tacloban around 1 PM to buy an iPhone 16 Pro Max (1TB). The saleslasy told us the cash price was ₱90,990 and even said she “double checked” it before confirming, so of course we trusted that and proceeded. But when we were about to pay, the same saleslady suddenly told us the price is ₱108,990 because the promo “ended yesterday.”

That’s where it got confusing. They also mentioned that they had just received the stock yesterday, so how did the promo already end? And since we arrived at 1 PM, they should’ve already known the correct price by then.

To make sure, we checked the official Power Mac Center website right there and saw that the ₱90,990 promo is still ongoing for the next 5 days. So naturally, we asked questions and tried to verify what was really correct. Just to be clear, we were actually willing and ready to pay ₱108,990 if that had been the price from the start — the issue was the sudden change after already confirming a lower price.

They told us they would confirm it, but we ended up waiting for more than an hour with no clear answer. The whole experience was just frustrating, confusing, and honestly inconvenient.

Just sharing this so others are aware.
