I fought so hard to reclaim my peace—through sleepless nights, heavy silences, and the weight of things I never thought I’d have to carry. I had to unlearn patterns that kept me stuck, walk away from people I loved, and choose myself even when it felt selfish. It wasn’t easy. There were days when I questioned if it was worth it, when my heart ached for the comfort of the chaos I was trying to escape. But I knew that peace was something I had to protect, not just wish for.

Now, I guard my peace like it’s sacred—because it is. I don’t entertain what disturbs my spirit, and I don’t apologize for choosing calm over chaos. The fight to get here taught me that healing isn’t a straight line, but it’s always worth the effort. I’m no longer begging for peace in places that only gave me pain. I’m creating it, choosing it, and refusing to let it go. This version of me is softer, stronger, and finally free.
