PPAIFI was represented by our PPAIFI President, Dr. Almond Derla; Dr. Rowena Pinar, PPAIFI Secretary-General; & Dr. Editha Gascon, one of PPAIFI’s Board of Trustees.

PPAIFI thanks all the delegates who attended the 2nd PPAIFI Roadshow: NCR last April 29, 2026 at The Residences at The Westin Manila. In partnership with German Quality Pharma, Inc., PPAIFI was able to host 90-strong PPAIFI Cosmetic Surgeons to a Scientific Meeting with Lectures on Abdominoplasty, the use of Ultrasound Hand-Held Devices, the use of HYCOOX Machine for easy Mesotherapy Injections.

2026 Philippine Federation of Cosmetic Surgeons Induction Ceremonies & Annual General Assembly

Last March 28, 2026, the PFCS, which PPAIFI is a component society of, held its Induction Ceremonies for Officers & the Annual General Assembly for all its Fellows at the Makati Diamond Residences.

PPAIFI congratulates our PFCS Representatives: Drs. Ferdinand Macababbad, Julio Javier II, & Enrico Banaag, for having been elected into the PFCS Board of Trustees.

Dr. Ricardo Isip was inducted as an examiner for the Philippine Board of Cosmetic Surgery, who will be taking over the role from Dr. Almond Derla, incumbent PPAIFI President.

PPAIFI congratulates the 2 new PFCS Diplomates from PPAIFI, who recently passed the PCSB Diplomate Exams, Drs. Maria Dianalyn Carlos & Leonardo Toledo.

We wish the new PFCS Board, under the leadership of Dr. Exequiel “Bing” Yumang, all the best as they bring us to greater heights as a society under the PFCS Umbrella.

PPAIFI BLS/ACLS 2026

Last February 25, 2026 & March 4, 2026, PPAIFI held its BLS/ACLS Certification for our PPAIFI Members & Trainees at the Tiara Oriental Hotel in Malugay St., Makati. Facilitated by the AHMCS Training Center, an American Heart Association Authorized Training Site, led by Dr. Armando Sayao, 80 PPAIFI Doctors & Trainees were re-certified under the new BLS/ACLS Guidelines of the American Heart Association.

This is in keeping with the PFCS Requirements that all Component Society doctors have updated & recertified their BLS/ACLS Certificates.
