Lip Neutralization is a process, not a one-time miracle. 💋

Every pair of lips is unique, especially lips with uneven pigmentation or naturally darker tones.

The first step is creating a clean, even canvas by:
✨ Defining and reshaping the lip border for a sharper, more balanced look.
✨ Neutralizing dark pigmentation.
✨ Balancing the overall lip tone.

Only after the lips are evenly neutralized can we safely add the desired lip color. This is what creates the most beautiful and even healed results.

If dark, uneven lips are filled with the final color immediately, the healed result will often appear patchy because the underlying pigmentation still shows through.

For clients with darker lips due to genetics or years of pigmentation, one session is rarely enough. A touch-up is highly recommended to build color gradually, improve retention, and achieve the most even result. During healing, darker pigment and dead skin cells will naturally shed, revealing a better foundation.

At your touch-up appointment, we usually no longer need to neutralize the lips again. Instead, we focus on depositing your chosen lip color, allowing it to heal brighter, more vibrant, and with better color retention.
