Rica is a natural wax from Italy that uses 98% NATURAL ingredients. It has a superb gripping strength that sticks only on the actual hair, not on the skin, therefore minimizing pain. Also, it does not contain petroleum oils and is 100% colophony-free. Colophony is a sticky substance distilled from the sap of pine trees. Due to its sticky property, it is used in a wide variety of products such as plasters, cements, glues, shoe wax, and hair removal wax. However, due to its harsh nature, it can cause irritation or allergic reaction after the hair removal process, especially if you have sensitive skin. Rica Wax, uses instead a vegetable oil base combined with Glycerine Rosinate for quality hair removal with less pain. Mario Puglisi, founder of Rica, was on a trip to purchase wax for his sisters' salon when he saw an opportunity to establish a small scale hair removal wax manufacturer.
